Dr. Ruben Parejo is one of the most respected voices in cruise and maritime medicine today.
With over two decades of frontline and executive-level medical experience, Dr. Parejo has led healthcare operations for major cruise lines, served as a senior shipboard physician in international waters, and practiced emergency medicine across diverse global settings.
Now, as Chair of the Cruise Medicine Section at the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), he plays a pivotal role in shaping the standards and future of medical care at sea.
He is the founder of Anchor Health Consulting, a Miami-based firm delivering expert advisory, training, and strategic guidance to cruise lines, maritime operators, offshore platforms, and global health organizations. Whether optimizing onboard protocols, building emergency response systems, or conducting international health audits, Dr. Parejo brings unmatched clinical insight and operational intelligence.
